Structure of the Day

We work with students in drama studios and school halls

Sessions are 50 - 90 minutes for KS3.

We can work with up to five KS3 classes.
-
To work with fewer classes, we can visit for just an afternoon or morning session.

To work with more than six classes we can visit across multiple days.

We will send you a suggested timetable when you enquire, and we can work with you to create a timetable that works for your school day.
Workshop Content

Exploration of range of scripts and activities consistent with the aims of the Literacy Framework, which will help develop tudents' skills in speaking and listening.

Use drama exercises and activities to imagine and explore the characters, context and topics from new angles.
-
Recount stories and explore characterisations - movement and emotions and intentions.

Discuss and debate the decisions of the characters.

Scripts & Sketches
Our Scripts & Sketches workshops, use a collection of short plays for use in Key Stage 3 English and Drama classrooms. the scripts are short enough for use in a single lesson or literacy hour, for reading or performance.
The scripts and sketches introduce students to a wide variety of genres, from social realism to comic parody. Our workshop style and help students explore dramatic forms and issues.
​Topics and isssues covered range from the influence of video games to our attitude to old age. Students will be challenged, intridged and entertained by the script.
