I’m individual!

I'm unique!

I believe all I can be.

I believe all I can do.

All sorts of wonderful things I can be,

I can do.

There's no one else like me!

I'm miscellaneous! That's me!

...just a few lines from our Mis-Cellaneous Open and Close Song.

Children are given the opportunity to get involved, improve their vocabulary and build up their confidence, in an environment that promotes learning through laughter.

The way that we teach drama is very different, it's not as structured as the way drama is traditionally taught. Children have a huge amount of freedom in our sessions; this is designed to embrace their individual ideas in performance. (See feature in the BBC Community News).

Drama Club runs for 10 weeks during term time, with a week off for half term. Each term, groups will work towards putting on their own version of a classic work of literature and will culminate with a show for family and friends in week 10.

Our aim is to introduce children to interesting stories, characters and texts in an imaginative and unique way. As well as developing their performance skills, we seek to inspire children to read in full the stories they are rehearsing and also research the issues, settings and historical context of the works.
