In Someone Else's Shoes

Are you looking for a fun, engaging, and thought-provoking experience for your students?  We are excited to offer one free drama workshop designed to challenge stereotypes and foster empathy.

Workshop Highlights:

  • Challenge Stereotypes: Our workshop encourages students to question why they think the way they do and why they make assumptions about people and things around them.

  • Interactive Role Play: Introduced by a practitioner "in role" as a Sergeant, who transforms when she puts on a pair of army boots, students are encouraged to imagine themselves as soldier and participate in a fun drill.

  • Empathy Through Shoes: Activities feature an interesting assortment of shoes and explore the concept of being "in someone else's shoes,".

  • Show Time: Students engage in situational dramas based on experiences that are imaginary, factual, and personal, fostering a deeper understanding and empathy for others.

  •

Workshop Details:

  • Duration: 45 minutes

  • Target Audience: Adaptable for KS2 students
